Welcome to Bombo Army Secondary School, a leading institution dedicated to the development of future leaders. Located in the heart of Bombo Town, Luwero District, our school was established by the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) in 1997 with the mission to provide quality and affordable education to the children of soldiers, as well as to the wider community.

Our History
Founded by the UPDF, Bombo Army Secondary School was established as a welfare initiative to provide educational opportunities for the children of soldiers and their surrounding communities. The school’s humble beginnings saw only 75 students in its first year. Today, we are proud to serve over 4,000 students from diverse backgrounds, guided by a dedicated staff of 136 teachers who work tirelessly to foster academic excellence.
